About Therapy with Julie West, LMFT
I provide all clients with a counseling experience that is safe, nonjudgmental and accepting. I believe in collaboration throughout the therapy process, client empowerment, and I have seen many clients grow and heal.
Every person and their experiences are unique. Although I have specialized training in certain areas, I bring open-mindedness to each client and tailor therapy individually to what works best for you.
I provide therapy support for anxiety, depression, parenting struggles, emotional regulation, life transitions and relationships. I have specialized training for trauma therapy, specifically EMDR trauma therapy. I also am certified in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for supporting clients who are grappling with OCD.
In addition to individual adult therapy, I also work with teens as well as children and utilize play therapy, art and sand tray when it is a fit.
