I actively engage in ongoing training to support LGBTQ+ teens and adults as well as anti-racism training and monthly consultation to best be able to provide culturally competent services to clients of all racial and ethnic backgrounds.

With children 3-12, I typically I use play, art and sand therapy (adding in CBT or EMDR as needed depending on client needs) to work through various areas including: trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, mild levels of OCD and anger management.
I work with parents as well to provide parent support about how you can support your child's emotional well-being through strategies at home including connective activities, troubleshooting limit-setting with kids individual temperaments or struggles, helping children cope and name their big emotions, anxiety management activities and resources, troubleshooting various other areas of struggle, or processing your own areas of triggers or overwhelm separately as needed.
